Robert English was a Tory on the side of the British in Rev. War. His religion is listed as Quaker/Royalist, His ethnicity is Irish.

Robert was a farmer without an estate, owned 30 slaves and lived in a rented house on Charlotte Street. He became a widower with 5 children and requested Spanish protection as he left for the British Dominions after the Rev. War. This information explains why Robert English was in Florida in 1783 for the Spanish Census.
