This is the Obituary of John Vittorino. My grandmother Marion Helena Vittorino gave me this long ago, when I first started my Family Tree. It more than likely came out of the STAR paper; it reads as follows:

VITTORINO -- Mr. John, 1045 E. 5th Street, passed away March 9. Survived by wife, Rosalie Vittorino of the home: 2 daughters, Mrs Angelina McCart, 4001 E. 58th Street; Mrs. Joseph C. Cappello, 1522 E. 33rd Street; son-in-law Frank La Barba, Dallas, Tex; brother Sebastian Vittorino, 2514 E. 10th Street; sister, Mrs. Marion Schiro of Italy; 5 grandchildren, also 4 great-grandchildren. Mr Vittorino was a member of the Campo-Felici Di Fitalia club. Rosary recitation Sunday evening, funeral will be held Monday morning 8:30. Services Holy Rosary Church 9 am. Burial Mt. St. Mary's cemetery. PASSANTINO BROS...... GR 2844

MRS. ROSALIE VITTORINO

Mrs. Rosalie Vittorino, 96, died Sunday at a nursing home at 759 Vermont Ave., Kansas City, KS, where she lived. She was born in Italy and had lived in this area 83 years. Mrs. Vittorino was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 531 Garfield Ave., Kansas City, MO. She leaves two daughters, Mrs. Angela McCart, Kansas City, and Mrs. J.C.Cappello, Kansas City, KS.; five grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 21 great-great-grandchildren. Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at the church; burial in St. Mary's Cemetery. The rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Passantino chapel, where friends may call after 2 p.m. Wednesday.

ANGELA MCCART

Angela McCart, 88, Laurie, MO, formerly of Kansas city, died Feb. 10, 1994, in a nursing home in Laurie. Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Kansas City; burial in St. Mary's Cemetery, Kansas City. Friends may call from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the Passantino Chapel, where the rosary will be said at 4:30 p.m. Mrs. McCart was born in Kansas City and moved to Laurie in 1990. She worked at the Midwest Embroidery Co. for 23 years, retiring in 1967. She was a member of the Daughters of Isabella and the Catholic Women's Club in Kansas City. Her husband, Oren McCart, died in 1943. Survivors include a son, Oren J. McCart, Sunrise Beach, MO; a sister, Mary Cappello, Kansas City, KS; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren

Frank Vittorino and Victor Vittorino were twins. Both died when one caught a cold and when Rosalie Nuccio breast fed she pass it on to both.
