This is an old 1931 photo of The Old Cecil School and 20 of the students and the teacher, Herbert Malachi "Herb" Ridgell. The Cecil School served the Boughton community, outside of Prescott, Ark.When Cecil School consolidated with Prescott, Ark., the old school house was donated to Piney Grove Church. In 1945, the Assembly voted to remodel the school house into a new church building 36' x 50',and convert the old church building into a new parsonage.
