The Rideout Family Origins

I would like to thank those who have forwarded information on the Rideout name beginning with Abraham who came from England. In doing this research the names: Barter,Getchell, Greenlaw, Cook, and Armstrong are included from the Charlotte Co. area of New Brunswick. I am looking for any information that would relate to these names from about 1795 to present.I am also interested in the Holmes - Giberson families of Carleton Co. dating approx 1800 to present as they are also connected to this research.
I started with the book "Rideout's in America" by Golda Soffe and am striving to fill in as many blanks or missed links from that writing. The book was published in 1969 and to the best of my knowledge was a one time printing, some copies are housed in various New Brunswick libraries, one being the Library at Woodstock, New Brunswick.

I am willing to share what information I have with others who are interested in this Tree.
