We are researching the CASSIDY, RIDENOUR, RILEY, TYLER and WALLACE lines, and are willing to share information with other researchers.
The RIDENOUR surname has been "Americanized" to several different spellings including RIDENOUR, RIDENHOUR, REITENAUER, REITNAUER and RIDENHOWER (the original spelling was possibly REITNAUER). The line has been traced back to the 1500's in Switzerland with emigration to America starting in 1738.

We have a large word processing file with information on over 15,000 RIDENOUR family members that is freely shared with other researchers. The file is maintained by Mel Ridenour and is available in MS Word, WordPerfect, MS Write or text formats.
