I am researching the Ridgwell family in Australia. My wife and I published a book called; "The Ridgwell Family in Australia 1839 - 1992" to coincide with a reunion held at Stawell, Victoria, Australia. George Ridgwell and his family arrived in Adelaide, South Australia on the barque Prince Regent in 1839. The family emminated from Essex in England. Other names researched have included, Rintoule, Wade, West, Jamieson & Dickenson. Strangely, no relationship has yet been made to the ridgEwell family.
