The Rigel Family - also Riggel - Reigle - Reigel - Riggel-Originated in Germany and immigrated to Pennsylvania then to Putnam County Ohio then to Dundee,Michigan. George Rigel(1777) father of Samuel Rigel(1811) father of Michael Rigel(1847) father of Lewis Rigel(1880) father of Merl Rigel(1913) father of Beryl Rigel(1938). I am researching the Rigel family of PA. and OH. and the Sitterly family since Lewis Rigel was married to Josephine Sitterly of Defiance, Ohio on February 19, 1901 in Norwalk, OH.
