I'm researching for information on the following families:
Pittman
Godwin
King
Eldridge
Westbrook
Ellis
Ferrell
Rigsbee
Riggsbee
Rigsby

In the region of North Carolina. The Pittman's and Godwin's came from Johnston County. The King's and Westbrook's came from Sampson County and the Eldridges came from Johnston Co.

The Ellis and Ferrell line are from Durham and Wake counties. The Rigsbee line is from Chatham and Orange counties. Some of the early Riggsbee's moved to Tenn.

If you have information that you would like to share or have a correction please email me so that I may make the changes to this site. I'm willing to share additional information I may currently have.

I hope that I have been of some help. Good hunting!

All my work is dedicated to my family who puts up with mother "playing with dead people", who goes missing for hours in the dark recesses of a courthouse, and who breaks for cemeteries."
