I am researching the ancestors of my grandparents, Joseph Ferguson, b. 17 Sep 1895 in Franklin County, Virginia m. 23 Dec 1925 Annie Catherine Barton b. 2 Jan 1910 in Vinton, Virginia. I have information about the Kesler ancestors of Annie's family and would like to find more information about Joseph's family. I have photographs of pages from a family Bible belonging to Joseph's grandmother which links him to Joel & Esther Preston whose children were born between 1784 and 1810. I would like to find more information about the Ferguson line as well as the Preston line.
My great grandfather, Henry Bascom Hatchett, b. 14 Jan 1846, was the son of William Henry Harrison Hatchett, born 18 Oct 1847 in Pittsylvania County, Virginia. His father, grandfather, and great-grandfathers were all named Edward and I believe there may even be a fourth Edward in the line. They were born in Chesterfield County, Lunenburg County and Pittsylvania County, Virginia. Any information that would help me straighten out the dates of the Edward's would be appreciated.
