The Rigbys of New England - from Stockport/Lancashire Eng.

The Rigbys I have good data on emmigrated from vic Stockport,Eng. in late 1800's settling in vic Fall River, MA. While I understand Rigby to be a common name in England, I have not been successful in establish ancestral ties earlier than a John Rigby born vic. of Stockport, Cheshire or Wiggan around 1823. I am particularly interested in some Rigby's that may have emmigrated from that same vic. - probably in late 1700's and settling near Mass. coastline - North or South of Boston.
Genealogy data gathered so far ties closely with Leach Family and Chace families in vic. of Fall River, MA. I am willing to share the dat I presently have.
