I'm trying to construct a family tree on my father's side of the family. The information that I have so far, I have gleaned from a letter that I discovered on the internet that was written by my great-great uncle Col. Thomas Ringland (1791-1869). I don't have a lot of dates or places. I guess you could say that is what I am trying to fill in. Also any of the other relatives that married into the Ringland family would be nice to have. You can never have a family that is too large.
What I do know is that my g-g-g-grandfather came from Ireland around 1795. I have the names of his children and his wife, Prudence Bailie. But I don't know where he was born or his parents' names, which is what I am really looking for.

Any help would be appreciated.
