| My name is Anthony Rini of Cleveland, OH. Thank you for visiting my web site. Please feel free to contact me at removethis.arini@core.com. Both of my mother and father's families were fishermen from Termini Imerese, Sicily, Province of Palermo. Below is some family history for which I would like to acknowledge cousins Paul Caito of Rochester, NY and Mike Rini of Avon, OH whom without their help, I would not have. I am researching the following names on my dads side from Termini; Rini, Mascari, Cianciolo, Sansone, Costa, Genovese, D'Atillo, Scola, Caito, Scalisi, DiBlasi, Longo, Mazziotta, and Palmisano. I am researching on my mothers side from Termini; LoSchiavo, Rini, Sanson, Sansone, Rocco, Gucciardo, Cianciola, Ciresi, Larocca, Sanfilippo, and Guglielmino. Main locations of interest include; Cleveland, Boston, and St. Louis. On my father's side, My gr, gr, gr grandparents were Saverio Mascari and Vincenza Genovese. Their son Vincenzo Mascari (born 1812) married Biagia Costa(born 1818), daughter of Leonardo and Maria Costa. Their son was Salvatore Mascari who married Girolama Sansone. They are my Gr Grandparents. They lived in St. Louis until about 1895 when they moved back to Termini with my grandmother Mariana Mascari Rini (born in St.Louis, March 12, 1887). They had 5 children including Saverio "Nicola" Rini who was married to Paola Cianciolo, daughter of Leonardo Cianciolo and Angela Scalisi. Their son was my grandfather, Guiseppi Rini (b. July 12 1878). Guiseppi moved to Boston at age 14 and grew up in Boston with brothers Leonardo and Martin from about 1894 to 1899. In 1899 he returned to Sicily to serve in the Italian Army. Guiseppi married my grandmother Mariana Mascari in 1902. They arrived in New York on August 18, 1902 aboard the SS Roma.
