Updated August 14, 2012

I am looking for information for both sides of my family.

My mother's family names are: Meyer (originally from Eisenschmitt, Germany 1800's ending in Cicero, Illinois via Luxembourg and possibly Canada); Schlentz (from Luxembourg 1800's ending in Cicero, Illinois); Van Dyke (from New Utrecht, NY ending in Walworth County, Wisconsin via Pennsylvania, Freeport, Illinois and Monroe or Madison, Wisconsin); and Button (originally from Oneida Co., NY to Walworth County, Wisconsin).

My father's family names are: Ringel (from Hesse Darmstradt, Germany in early 1820's, ending in Peoria, Illinois via Hooppole, IL); Mulligan and Fahey (from Roscommon, Ireland around 1830's ending in Peoria, Illinois); Rindfleisch (from Germany dates unknown, then Cleveland, Ohio ending in Peoria, Illinois); Hutcherson (from Henrico County, Virginia mid-1740's ending in Peoria, Illinois via Springfield and Petersburg, Illinois) and Primm (orig. de la Pryme) originally from Ypres, France arriving to Stafford County, Virginia ending in Petersburg, Illinois).
