The Ringenary/Regneri/ Regnery? Home Page

Researching the Ringenary's /Regneri's/ and Regnery's of Pennsylvania.and GermanyOriginal spelling was Regneri, which was changed to Regnery, and then some members changed it to Ringenary, while others kept variations of the other spelling.

First U.S.A. ancestor Nickolaus Peter Regneri (bd. Sept.15, 1826) came from Mehring, Germany, to Ashland, or Gordon,, Pennsylvania,where he married Anna Catharina (Katherine)Schneider , from Neuerburg, Germany,on March 8, 1859.
I have no info or Passenger list or place or date of arrivals.

I have also information on a brother Johann(John) Regnery(spelling changed)( bd. July 4, 1835 in Mehring, Germany) who also lived in Ashland, married to Eva(????), and a sister Angela (bd. June 30, 1841 in Mehring,Germany) also in Ashland, married in 1861( in U.S.A),to Nickolaus Muller.


Also have info on other siblings and previous relatives in Mehring, Germany.

Am now trying to put together U.S. sides but with name changes am having a bit of difficulty.
Have children of Nickolaus and Katherine and descendants, but brother John and sister Angela, are proving difficult. Apparently the next generations did not keep in touch. Rumors about someone who lived in Fountain Sprongs, Pa. are floating.

Any help available would be appreciated, with earlier generation in Germany or later on U.A.
