| I'm looking for more information on Dr. Sheldon S. Rinehart. This much I have been able to gather, but can not prove. He had four wives one of which was a Carrie Cooper. She was the mother of Floyd Leon Rinehart. Dr. Sheldon S. Rinehart had a pratice in Laporte and Freeland,Michigan. Dr. Sheldon S. Rinehart was a decendent of one of seven brothers who came to America during the American revolution as mercenary soldiers to fight for the British. They were called Hessin Mercenaries since they were sold to the British for one mark each by Prince Hessin. Probably about 1775-76. Dr. Sheldon Rinehart was in the Civil War and became a doctor after the war.
