My research into my surname Riplinger brought about many exciting hours of investigation. I never realized that this name is represented in a number of states in the U.S.
My portion of the Riplinger's came from Prussia/Germany and settled in Jennings County, Indiana. Most of them stayed in Indiana with a few moveing to Kentucky.
Through my research I have found that there is a Riplinger, Wisconsin in Clark County. I am sure that they came from the same area as my decendants and that somewhere back in Germany I may be related to these Riplingers.
On my mothers side of the family I am researching the name Schack (Szczech) and Klugiewicz. these are Polish and German in origin. Unfortunately, as it happens in Genealogy Research, I have hit the old brick wall. I have a photograph of my grandfathers family but only know my grandfathers name.
I will be updating this page as often as research allows. If you have any questions or additions please feel free to notify me by email.
