Rippeons
My family is descended from William Rippeon (Rippin) of Liberty, Frederick, Maryland. He was born in 1816 in Maryland and married Rachel Poole in 1844. They had children Mary Jane, George W., Winfield Scott, Bradley Taylor, Emma J. and John Thomas. For the past 7 years I have been trying to establish the parents of William but have been unsuccessful. I am currently working on the following lines of
Thomas Rippin
Eli(Ely)Rippin
Jacob Rippin
David Rippin
William Rippin
(sometimes spelled Rippen/Rippeon/Rippon) all born in the late 1700s in Frederick County, Maryland. I would like to know the sons and brothers of the above men. Any information would be much appreciated.

Hatfields
Information on the Hatfields of Maryland is rare and valuable. My family is descended from Charles Wesley Hatfield who was born in 1861. In 1885 he married Julia Ida Harris who was born in 1862. Together they resided in Marston, Carroll, Maryland and had children Grace May, William David, Minnie Viola, Samuel Elsworth, Rachel Marie, Charles Melvin, Mary Margaret, Lillie Maude, Ethel Rebecca, Joe Edward and Fannie Ellen. Charles' parents, as listed on his death certificate, were Augustus Hatfield and Susan Foreman and Julia's parents were David Harris and Margaret C. Haines. Information about the children came from a family bible record where the children's names, birth and death dates were written. Currently I am researching an Augustus Hatfield residing with Daniel and Rachael Hatfield of Carroll, Maryland to determine if this is Charles' father. Any information would be much appreciated.

If you have Rippeons or Hatfields in Maryland I am more than willing to search my records for any connections, just email me.
