Notes for Ellen Debora Train:
Fact 1. According to Swedish custom Jan (Ellen's Grandfather) taught his eldest son Johan to be a tailor. Johan in turn taught his eldest daughter to be a dressmaker, - Aunt Ellen. They, Johan and Ellen, must have used Butterick patterns for they had a large stack of Delinator Magazines in Uncle Charley's attic ( the old farm home of Johan [John] Train)
