The Edward R. Ritter Family Home Page

At this time I am researching my great-great-grandfather, John Ritter.John was born in Germany in 1847. John and his wife Minnie Ritter immigrated from Germany to East Dundee, Illinois in 1880. I am trying to locate the city from Germany that they came from. I am also attempting to locate any living releatives with the Ritter surname.John had a Brother ,Herman that also immagrated to East Dundee in 1881. Herman might of had a son but I dont know of one at this time.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
