The James Ritchie Family Home Page

I am looking for info on Robert Ritchie who emmigrated to Ontario, Canada about 1840/44, from Scotland, & settled in Waterloo County. His son was James H. Ritchie, born in 1844, in Ayr, Ontario, who married Elizabeth Beirnes in 1878 in Huron County. They had three children: Francis Robert born 1879, Sarah born 1881 & Maude born abt. 1883. I am familiar with these children & their decendants, but know nothing about their grandfather Robert. I'm also looking for the descendants of James & Jane McLaughlin, who were born in Ireland in the 1820's & settled first in Durham County, Ontario & then in Huron County.
I have info to share on the Adam & Eleanor (Blair) Fletcher family, married in Enniskillen, County Fermanagh, Ireland in 1845 & who emmigrated to Huron County in 1845/46.
