Robert "DOC" Guy Flickinger & Elise 'DISH" Devlin-Flickinger

My family research on both my Father's (Flickinger) side and my Mother's (Devlin) side has come largely from the information shared with me by my Cousin Kathy (Flickinger side) and Cousin Cathy (Devlin) side. I want to thank them both for their kindness and generosity, which it has always been my fortunate experience growing up as part of two such wonderful families.

My Mother and Father both were the most loving, genuine and finest people a child could encounter as an example of how to live your life, and are missed horribly. They did not use the Internet to pass on to us what "Family" meant to them, but lived this love and commitment to family out in their daily lives. Knowing them both, I know they would love the whole idea of documenting it this way. My love for them and the great loss I feel since their deaths just 12 days apart in 2001 is what has lead me to learn more about how they came to be here.
