George Washington Blanton (son of David Isaac Blanton and Mary Emmagene Elizabeth Morford) was born 13 March 1873 in KY, and died Abt. 1950 in Elwood, Madison Co., IN.

Notes for George Washington Blanton:
Elizabeth Theda Cooley told me she remembers going to George's house as a small child and that he lived in a one room shack near the RR in Elwood. She said there was not enough room to sit down, barely enough room for three adults to stand, and that she remembers him as a "mean old man". She also told me that he lived near Leonard McRoberts who was Mary's brother and that their father was Wicks McRoberts.
