The CRIST, BRASHIER, SMITH roots reach beyond Alabama to France. My great grandfather Jacob Levi Crist was a soldier in the Civil War.
The Brahsier's came from France. I am interested in finding more about their French Connection. I am also interested in the finding Jacob Levi Crist's ancestors

The THOMPSON, WILSON roots are illusive. Those that I know are from the region around south Alabama, the Mobile County area

I am interested in finding more regarding my grandfather, John Baptist Thompson.
My great grandfather Robert Thompson and great grandmother Elizabeth Wilson (whose father's name was Jacob).
John Thompson was born in Mobile, Ala. I am looking for the birthplace of Robert Thompson and Elizabeth Wilson.
