The Verna Rix Family Home Page

I am researching the descendants of Samuel Birch Rix, a disbanded soldier who came to Canada from New York circa 1786. He was the son of Benjamin Rix and the brother of Benjamin Rix who were also soldiers. Samuel Rix settled in Prince Edward Island circa 1790. I haven't been able to find any information on this family before they came to Canada.
I'm also researching related families including Wright, Murray, Penman, Dunbar, Wallace, Stapley, Adams, McEwen, Weston, and Collins.
