I am researching the SIMONS family from Enfield, CT; circa 1687.The family migrated from CT to areas of NH, VT, NY, MI, WI, WA, CA, KS, IA, UT and Canada. One branch of the family in the upstate NY area changed the spelling of the name to SIMONDS. Surnames allied to this family are: ABBE, BEMENT, BILL, BIXBY, BLISS, BOARDMAN, CHANDLER, CHAPIN, DEARDRUFF, FOSTER, GEER, HADLOCK, HARPER, HILL, ISHAM, KLINE, NOONEY, OLCOTT, PARSONS, PASCO, PEASE, PHELPS, PLAISTEAD, PRIOR, RIDDLE, RUMRIL, SKINNER, THOMAS, THOMPSON, WHEELWRIGHT, WRIGHT and YOUNG. Currently I have around 1800 names in my family file with additional ones that need to be added in. Any information on these families would be greatly appreciated.
