9 February 1844
"On 5th inst., at Peterboro, whither she had gone on a visit to her son, Mrs. McKyes, relict of the late Barnabas McKyes, of the township of Hamilton, near Cobourg, aged 70 years."
The Cemetery Database at the Cobourg Library lists Mrs. McKyes as "Anne McKyes" and her date of death as February 4, 1844, age 70 yrs. St. Peter's Church Cemetery is on King St. E. @ College St. in Cobourg.
