Notes for David Merrit Muncrief: Mom said the day David Muncrief died he came in from working in the field and ate lunch. He told her he felt bad. He decided to go fishing. He did not come home. After dark they started looking for him with lanterns. They found him dead about a quarter of mile from home. It looked like he had tried to get up but couldn't. (William D. Roach)
