Notes for Tennie Nora Muncrief: Tishomingo Paper 6-4-1970 FUNERAL HELD FOR MRS. KIRKPATRICK Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at the Baptist church in Bromide for Mrs. Tennie Nora Kirkpatrick, 87, who died at the hospital here on May 31.
Born Texas on April 11, 1883, Mrs. Kirkpatrick had been a resident of Johnston county for 75 years and was the widow of Mr. Rollie Kirkpatrick whom she married at Bromide in 1901. She lived in that community until shortly before her death.
Survivors include three children, Arlie Kirkpatrick of Niagara Falls, N.Y., and Mrs. Mary Carlton and Mrs. Nora Heffington, both of Tishomingo: 16 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren.
Services were conducted by Rev. Wesley James and Rev. Don Foster and burial was in Wells Valley cemetery with the Chapman Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers were Harold Troutman, Seigel Heffington, Buster Carlton, Harley Carlton, Kennith Kirkpatrick, and Willie Kirkpatrick. Honorary bearers were Kevin Troutman, Johnny Dixion, Carlton Lane, Kenny Kirkpatrick, Seigel Heffington Jr., and Woody Dixon.
