Notes for Willie Ruben Roach: The following is what I (William David Roach) remember and things my mother (Edna Evelyn (Muncrief) Roach) told me about my father.
Willie Ruben Roach - As a young boy he attended Bell School which was north east of Connerville, Oklahoma. His teacher was Molly Stewart. He helped his dad clean water wells in his youth. His first job was working for the Guy Harris cattle ranch. When he married Edna Evelyn Muncrief he made his living on the Guy Harris cattle ranch, after work he planted cotton for a cash crop, they fed the cotton seed to their cattle, he also raise cain to feed the cattle, horses, and chickens. In the 1950's he worked as laborer for contractor that built houses and his last place of employment was Superior Clay Products. He was a brick burner at Superior Clay Products when he retired.

OBITUARY Ada Evening News BILL ROACH ADA -- Services for Willie Ruben "Bill" Roach, 81, Ada, are 3 P.M. Wednesday at Smith Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Don Newby conducting rites. Burial follows at Swan Hill Cemetery. Mr. Roach died March 9, 1992, at Ada. He was born Nov. 10, 1910, at Decatur, Texas, to James Peter and Laura Viola Wheelis Roach. He moved to Ada in 1961 and attended Connerville Schools. He was a retired laborer with the Brick Plant and a member of the Baptist Church. He and Edna Muncrief were Married Nov. 10, 1934, in Ada. Survivors include his wife, Edna Roach, of the home; three sons, J.L. Roach, Broken Arrow, William D. Roach, Kingston, and Richard Roach, Tecumseh; four daughters, Viola Boggs, Park Hill, Billie Jean Kerns, Tulsa, Ruby Walker, Vanoss, and Annie Ryan, Ada; 14 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Bearers are Ralph Biggs, Jeff Roach, Vernon Roach, Ronnie Roach, Donnie Roach, Melvin Collins, and Clinton Collins.
On November 09, 2001 Willie Ruben Roach received a summons for Federal Jury Duty in Muskogee, Oklahoma. Annie called the court clerk and informed her he was deceased. She told Annie to turn the form over and write the information on the back and have Edna Roach sign and date the information.
