Hi David

Thanks for responding to my query. Hopefully we have some info to share that will shed some more light on what I think are some very interesting people.

The thing I noticed first about your response was the name Harrison Agustua Roach. Did you know that his first wife, Phebe Anne Crabtree Flanary had two children, Liman and Jim and that Liman named his first son Richard Agustua (it may also be spelled Agustia). I assume that he named him after his stepgrandfather, Harrison Agustua Roach.

You may know that Phebe was 25 years older than Harrison. She is buried in Keller Cemetery in Carter County, OK, beside her son Liman (my ggrandfather). Harrison and Cora are buried in the cemetery at Lone Grove also in Carter County (don't know where you live, you may already know these places in Carter County).

Regarding Cora, I remember her when I was a child. I certainly remember her living in a convalescent home in Wynnewood before she died, but I do not remember going to her funeral or to her burial.

I have Cora listed as Cora Grantham born in TX (don't know the town) 18 Dec 1872. I assume she had not been previously married. Her first husband, Liman Flanary, died in 1919. Liman's mother, and Harrison's 1st wife, Phebe Crabtree Flanary, died in 1923 at age 82. I do not know the date when Harrison married Cora. I think they were probably living near Oil City at the time.

I show Harrison born 10 June 1866 and died 20 Oct 1944. I do not know where he was born nor his parents. I don't know where he died, but I assume it was near Lone Grove.

I hope you can add to this and make corrections where I have errors. If you have any biological sketches about Harrison, his family or Cora or any of the Flanary Clan, I'd really like to hear about it.

Just so you'll know about me, I descend from Phebe and John Flanary thru their second son Liman, then Liman and Cora's 2nd son, Charlie Clint Flanary, to Eugene Flanary (my father). I was born in Healdton, Carter County, OK, and went thru high school in Wilson. I left in 1959 and eventually had a career in the Air Force. Right now I'm retired living in Niceville, FL.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Barry Flanary
