Nora (Kirkpatrick) Heffington TISHOMINGO -- Services for Nora Heffington, 85, Tishomingo, are 10 a. M. Thursday at Westside Church of Christ, Tishomingo, Charles Cook and Neal Thurman Officiating. Burial follows in Tishomingo City Cemetery. Mrs. Heffington died Jan 13, 1997, at Ardmore. She was born Nov. 14, 1911, at Bromide, Oklahoma to Knock and Tennie (Muncrief) Kirkpatrick. She was a resident of Johnston County all her life and was a homemaker. She was a volunteer at Johnston Memorial Hospital and a member of Westside Church of Christ, Tishomingo. She and Buck Heffington were married in 1927 in Johnston County. He died in April 1975. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Woody Lewis Dixon, in 1981. Survivors include a son, Siegel Heffington, Tishomingo; four daughters, Jodie Dixon, Marietta, Audra Troutman, Tishomingo, Willie Davis, Tulsa, and Billie Belvins, Durant; 12 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Bearers are grandsons Seigel Heffington Jr., Bobby Heffington, Rudy Davis, Johnny Dixon, Kevan Troutman, Barry Troutman, Denton Blevins, and Scott Blevins. The family says contributions may be made in Mrs. Heffington's memory to Westside Church of Christ in Tishomingo. Corbin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
