Bromide--Services for Albert Ray Collins and his wife, Beverly Joan Collins, will be at 10:30 A.M. Friday at Bromide Baptist Church, Burial will be in Wells Valley Cemetery near here. Rev. Allen Hicks will officiate. He will be assisted by Rev. Bill Lehr. Collins, 55, was born March 11, 1929, in Bromide. He died Aug. 11, 1984 in Los Angeles, Calif. He was an employee of Dyna Electron Corp. He was reared at Bromide and married Beverly Joan Halvorson in 1953 in Wichita, Kans. He was a Baptist. Survivors include one son, Monte Collins, Clarksville, Ky.; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Collins, Bromide; one sister, Sarah Anderson, Ada; two brothers, Clinton Collins, Oklahoma City, and Melvin Collins, Madill. Mrs. Collins, 52, was born March 30, 1932, in Cass Lake, Minn. She died Aug. 11, 1984, in Los Angeles. She was a housewife and grew up in Minnesota. She married Albert Ray Collins in 1953 in Wichita, Kans. Her parents were Ole Halvorson and the former Grace Wagner Survivors include one son, Monte Collins, Clarksville, Ky., one brother, Morris Halvorson, Battle Lake, Minn.; eight sisters, Marilyn Colbert, Evert, Wash., Joyce Little, Augusta, Kans., Mildred Teters, Stanchfield, Minn., Verna Grider, Cerritors, Calif., Patricia Newmiller, Casper, Wy., Lillian Dahl, Chitheral, Minn., Twyla Evans, Augusta, Kans., and Carol Wirth, Wichita, Kans. Smith Funeral Home in Tishomingo is in charge of services.
