Matthew Durham (b. Abt. 1726, d. 09 Dec 1795)

Matthew Durham (son of George G. Durham and Winifred Lindsey) was born Abt. 1726 in Brunswick County, Virginia, and died 09 Dec 1795 in Orange County, North Carolina. He married Susannah Lindsey on 21 Nov 1752 in Brunswick County, Virginia, daughter of William Lindsey and Jane Lindsey.

Notes for Matthew Durham:
Served in French & Indian War 1754 in Hogg's Company of the Virginia Troops under the command of Colonel George Washington. He was wounded at Fort Necessity, Virginia in the "Battle of The Meadows". He was a Revolutionary War Patriot, in North Carolina.
