My Family Tree is based on the Robertson line, with my Father, James Robertson (born 26 June 1900, died 2 April 1963)as the starting point. He was the Chief Public Health Inspector for Edinburgh. The earliest Robertson I can identify was Alex Robertson, born about 1755 in Kincardineshire. His son was George Robertson. I am also interested in the Halley line from my mother. In particular the brother of my maternal Grandfather, Stewart Campbell Halley, who died in East London, South Africa on 18 March 1908. His brother, also resident in South Africa, was James Francis Halley who died in East London on 15 December 1930 aged 60. He had three daughters and the trace went cold there. |
