| Looking for more information on the Robertson family. My great Grandfather was James Sisk Robertson Jr.,was born 1862 in Oconee, Shelby County, Illinois. He married Ida May Fortner in December 28, 1883 in Bethany, Moultrie County, Illinois. He died 1893. His father was James Sisk Robertson Sr.He was born about 1831 in Kentucky, and married Caroline Huffman September 6, 1851 in Shelby County, Illinois. He died in Danville, Kentucky in January 28,1863 in the Civle War. He was with Company F.115th Infantry. His Father was Ebenezer Alexander Robertson, he married Rebecca Matthews. Ebenezer Alexander Robertson Father was William Robertson he married Margaret Peggy Alexander. Margaret father was Ebenezer Alexander. That all I have on them, would like more information on Mother and Father and siblings of William Robertson and his wife Margaret Peggy Alexander. My maternal great great grandfather was James E. Gillaspie born somrtime in 1820, in Kentucky. Married Rheda Jaretta Elliot, June 28, 1846 in Martinsville, Morgan county Indiana.Need more information on parents and any brothers and sisters he might have had. Also where is he buried. |
