My birth name if Gretchen Phyllis Hall. Bette is my adopted name so for genealogy purposes I'm Gretchen! Always liked the name. Am researching Hall, Gossett, Chester, Rodgers, Tomlinson, Gibbons, Eppes, Rogers, Terrell, Moore, Morton and lots more. Virginia, N.C.and TN is where the paternal side came from and Rodgers, Tolisons, got up to Red River County, Tx and into SE Oklahoma where the Gossetts were. Mostly hunting my grandfather,Marion Gossett Hall who disappeared from Enid, Ok and My Grandmother, Jane Elizabeth Rodgers Gossett's life probably not long after my mother (Marion Australia Gossetts) birth. Also researching Robinson, Jenz, Doentch, Higgins - just starting my hsbnd's line. He's John Stuart Robinson, and his lost dad is John Spencer Robinson last known of in Los angeles in the pre-ww2 days with a wife named Genivieve. (re L.A. City Directory) Cincinnatti Ohio is the area his mother's family came from, and John Spencer was from Ky. |
