| I am researching the family of my great grandfather Thomas Robertson, born in Dornoch, Scotland in 1831 and emigrated to Lanark County, Ontario, Canada in 1832, died June 19, 1869. Thomas was married to Mary Creighton who died February 15, 1882. I am the grandson of John Thomas Robertson (1867-1938) and Elizabeth Ann McKay (1871-1934)of Lanark County, ON and later Ottawa, ON. I am the son of Erle George Robertson (1897-1951) and Eva Elizabeth Cochrane (1906-1999) of Simcoe, ON. One brother of John Thomas Robertson (either Robert or William, b.1865, d.1923)emigrated from Canada to Chicago, IL area. I am looking for information about my pre-emigration Scottish descendants. I will share any information I have. |
