| I am researching the Milne family of Idaho Springs Colorado. My first entry is from the 1900 census. They are Robert P. Milne, born April 1854 in Scotland, and his wife Viola Jane, born August 1855 in Wisconsin. The census lists the following children: Allie, Robert H. b.1/1883, Belmont E, b. 1/1891, Mandie b. 1/1893, Clarence Richard b. 12/1893, Richmond E. b. 6/1896, Ruth b. 7/1899.I have death records for Viola Jane and Belmont. Viola died in March of 1903 in Idaho Springs, and Belmont died in 1974, also in Idaho Springs.My side of the family descends from Clarence Richard Milne. He married Mildred Letty Bird of Iowa (don't know date) and had my father Richard Raymond Milne on December 20, 1921 in Los Angeles County, most likely Long Beach. There were three other children born before my father's birth. Since my father was abondoned at birth, I have no knowledge of the rest of his family.
