Gilma Robertson Dunn
Gilma Robertson Dunn (1873-1954) was widowed in 1918 when her husband, a successful businessman in Evergreen, Alabama was hit by a train while driving out of town to pick up a nurse to care for a member of his household who was sick with influenza. He died 2 days later. His tombstone in Evergreen, Alabama is engraved: "Death Loves a Shining Mark". Gilma never remarried. She died in Fitchburg, Massachusetts where she lived with her daughter Mary V Dunn Robison (1903-1970) and is buried next to her husband in Evergreen, Alabama.
