  Gilma Robertson Dunn (1873-1954) was widowed in 1918 when her husband, a successful businessman in Evergreen, Alabama was hit by a train while driving out of town to pick up a nurse to care for a member of his household who was sick with influenza. He died 2 days later. His tombstone in Evergreen, Alabama is engraved: "Death Loves a Shining Mark". Gilma never remarried. She died in Fitchburg, Massachusetts where she lived with her daughter Mary V Dunn Robison (1903-1970) and is buried next to her husband in Evergreen, Alabama.

He was paid here for 2 years of arrears back to 1831 ($172) and a semi-annual payment ($43) for a period ending 4 Sept 1833 totalling $215.

  Uncle Buddy retired from the US Navy as a Lieutenant Commander. For a period of time, he was the pilot who shuttled Bob Hope to bases in Panama and other locations. His family treasures Christmas cards sent to him by Bob Hope.

  Joseph B Tuggey (1847-1923) emigrated to the US in 1850, married Frances Marion Bailey (1846-1924) of Mexico, NY on 22 April 1869 in Oswego, NY. Joseph worked as a loom operator in textile mills throughout his life accounting for his bent posture. They lived for a time in Enfield, MA, the current site of Quabbin Reservoir near Ware, MA.

  The attached is a text file of all ancestors researched and compiled as of 12 November 2003. One of the lines of "alleged" (undocumented) ancestors reaches as far back as the 12th century to Fulk IV the Rude, Count of Anjou, a member of the Plantagenet family born in 1106! If he is truly my ancestor, he would be my 29th Great Grandfather!
