| I am doing research on my Hall and Donaldson families. My grandfather was John William Hall, who was married to my grandmother Ida Bell Donaldson. They had five children together. My father, Louie Leon Hall, John Taylor and Katie Kathleen. Their other two children died when they were babies. Both of my grandparents were married previously. I know the name of my grandfathers first wife was, Nealie Dora Jones. They had four children together: Willie B. Hall, Ada (boy)& Bessie were twins and Verna Hall Stearns. My grandmothers first husband was Thomas Evans. They had two daughters together. Mattie Lou Martin and Flo May Crowe. These were their married names. My grandfathers parents names were Howell Cummings Hall and Thursby Whiticer. I don't believe "Whiticer" is spelled right. This was the spelling on my grandfathers death certificate, given by my Aunt Kathleen Hall Godsey. My grandmothers parents names were William Donaldson and Alice Black.Both of my greatmothers were of Indian Descent. Thursby was Creek Indian and I don't know about Alice. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Any information from anyone would be greatly appreciated. |
