Researching my family history back to and beyond the Cherokee blood lines on my fathers side of the family, and the German ancestry on my mothers side. Looking for the following names: Roberts; Ellis; from North Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, Kentucky late 1800's early 1900's.Frederick; Jones from Tennessee, Kentucky, Virginia same time period. Jack Roberts who is the first fullblooded cherokee I can find any information on lived in Chatanooga, Tn, then moved to Hazard or Harlan Ky in the 1930's and went to work in the coal mines. I would appreciate any information I can find. Would be more than willing to share any I can find with others. |
