I'm researching the Roberts family in Litchfield county CT. and the surrounding counties of New York and Massachusetts for the period from the 1600's - 1864. I'm also researching the Freeman and Parker families in the Waterbury, Ct., Brooklyn, N.Y. and Woodstock, Vt. areas from the 1600's - 1920.I've been able to track the Roberts back to Fredrick Roberts born August 8, 1801 in East Canaan, Ct. and died July 27, 1844 in East Canaan, Ct. and his wife Hannah(maiden name unknown) born September 30, 1804 in Cornwall, Hollow, Ct. and died July 29, 1878 in East Canaan, Ct.My grandfather, Leon Elbert Freeman, was born about 1887 in Woodstock, Vt. and died July 12, 1947 in Hartford, Ct. My grandmother, Grace Edna Parker, was born August 5, 1886 in Brooklyn, N.Y. and died August 18, 1963 in Hartford, Ct.I'll be willing to share any information I have.
