The David Robinson Family Home PageUpdated September 5, 2000 |

| This is my first trial on the internet. I have traced the Robinson family from 1999 back to about 1610 in America. The first name, Christopher Robinson was born in England in 1595 and came to Virginia about 1610. The Robinson family was in Virginia until about 1760, in North Calolina until about 1836 and then settled in Clay County Kentucky. There are members of the Robinson family probably in the three states listed above, but this line moved through the mountains. I am particularly interested in David Robinson born in Buncombe County North Carolina in 1795 and died in Jackson County Kentucky on July 19, 1863. This location was about 4 or 5 miles from Mars Hill,North Carolina in what is now Madison County. This was on Long Branch at Little Ivy River. |
