Shown in this summer swimming scene, in the Battenkill, are from l to r, 1. unknown child, 2. Fannie Foster (1876-1950), 3. unknown child, 4. Edward Walter Kimball, 5. George Linden Kimball, 6. Helen Kimball, 7. unknown child, 8. William Robert Kimball, 9. Jane Gertrude Egan (Kimball). Fannie Foster, married to Shushan postmaster William R. Ryan, was a sister of Anna Mary Foster, wife of George Henry Kimball. Jane Gertrude Egan was the wife of Harold Foster Kimball, son of George Henry Kimball. It's logical to assume that the children belonged to these women. All Foster and George Henry Kimball descendants' photos were provided courtesy of Jane Margaret Kimball McGarvey.
