I am researching the family surnames: Jennings, Mase,and Tanner. Their original Tanner location was Exeter, Rhode Island (in the early 1700's) and later, Granville, New York and Northern Pennsylvania. The Jennings family came originally from Connecticut and Vermont and settled in Northern Pennsylvania. The Mase family first settled in New York or New Jersey then moved to Newberry, Pa. and then to Liberty, Pa. The first Mase that I have record of was William who was forn in 1796. |
