1. DAVID¹ ROBERTSON was born Bet. 1803 - 1804 in NC, and died Abt. 1865 in Tallapoosa, Haralson Co, GA. He married (1) MARY OWENS ROBERTSON. She was born 1800 in NC, and died Abt. 1885 in Haralson Co., GA. He married (2) MARY OWENS ROBERTSON WFT Est. 1821-1852. She was born 1807 in NC, and died Abt. 1865 in Haralson Co., GA.

(One source says he was buried in Clay Cemetery, Harlason Co.,however, there is no marker in the cemetery for him. There is no list ofpeople that are buried at Clay Cemetery). In addition, others show his date of death as 1880, however, he is not on the 1870 Census and as of this date (10-24-1998)I am showing his death as some time in the 1860's.

The 1850 Carroll Census and 1860 Haralson Co. census show his wife as NANCY. Old notes of Annie Robertson show Robert's mother as Mary Owens.
Also, Mrs Lois Newman relates a story in "Haralson Co., a History" that Robert
named his granddaughter after Martha his first wife and Marie after his mother
Mary. I have searched Habersham Co., Lincoln Co., Carroll and Haralson
counties for a marriage record for David and Mary Owens. So far, none exists.

No further records of John Wesley Robertson. Three John Robertson, one a
John W., reported hospitalized during Civil War. No further records on any of them. 1860 Haralson Co. Census show him living with David Robertson. His age was 27.

BENJAMIN S. ROBERTSON, b. Abt. 1834; d. 25 Jun 1862, Bib Creek Gap TN Hospital; m. NANCY M., WFT Est. 1850-1861; b. WFT Est. 1830-1846; d. WFT Est. 1850-1932.

Served in the Confederate Army, Co. K.40th Regt. GA Vol. Army of TN CSA. He died of disease at Bib Creek Gap Hospital, TN, June 25, 1862. Nancy M. Robertson was listed as widow, Benjamin Robertson on Confederate Pesion Roll.

Nancy Robinson, age 45 listed on the 1870 Haralson Co. census with two
children: Mary C., age 7 and Georgian Age 3, (male). She may be the widow of
Benjamin.(Delete this note. Benjamin died in 1862 at age 28)

She is buried at Oakwood Cemetery, Honey Grove, Fannin Co., TX.

Received at City Point VA 1 Aug. 1862, received at Louisville KY a Confederate deserter 4 Jul 1864. Took oath of Allegiance to the US Government and was released to remain north of the Ohio River during the war. (No proof this was our James.)

Ahaz Robertson said Albert Owens Robertson was buried in the old Ebenezer
Cemetery, Haralson County along with a young son of William F. Robertson. This
cemetery is now abandoned. If the lake in Haralson County is built the cemetery will have to be moved according to Georgia law.

Ahaz Robertson said Albert Owens Robertson was buried in the old Ebenezer
Cemetery, Haralson County along with a young son of William F. Robertson. This cemetery is now abandoned. If the lake in Haralson County is built the cemetery will have to be moved according to Georgia law.
Albert is listed on the 1860 Census, age 16.

Thomas Robinson(Robertson) listed onthe 1870 Haralson Co. census with wife.
Also living with him were his sister Elizabeth age 21, and Brother Robert, age 18.Living next to William Robinson(Robertson), age 40.
