Our family research began in 1983, when our younger son, Jeffrey Walker Robertson, brought home a five-generation chart he needed to complete for a Cub Scout Badge. My husband Larry and I filled in as much as we could, and took Jeff to the Alabama Room of the Anniston-Calhoun County Public Library. On that trip, we discovered our first Confederate Ancestor, and were bitten by the "Genealogy Bug." Now, 22 years later, we are still as enthusiastic as we were then. We have entered over 10,300 names in Family Tree Maker 11 software, and are only about half way through our files. This is an ongoing project, and will be updated quite often. |
