Rosemary's family of Petrie's originate in the 19th century from Law, Kennethmont, Aberdeenshire, Scotland. Her grandmother's side stem from the Watson's of Maresfield, Sussex, England and the Maitland's of Belhelvie, Aberdeenshire, Scotland. George's family stem from the Pirie's of Fordyce, Banffshire, Scotland and the Ritchie's of Abercorn, West Lothian, Scotland.
