| The descendents of John Laurence born in 1795 and principally his descendants who emigrated to New Zealand in 1875, 1883 and 1892. John married Janet Harper in Lerwick and he died there in 1833. Two sons, Laurence and William Clark, both went to New Zealand together with their families. William Clark Arcus is my great grandfather. Glen Robertson. This tree has been based on information gathered by William Arnott Arcus of Wellington NZ and Jim Arcus of Vancouver Canada and added to by family members since 1986 |
